Mohamed Firzul Hussain Firaz has resigned from the post of Deputy Minister of Finance.

Firzul announced his resignation in a tweet on Thursday, however, did not disclose the reason behind his decision.

He thanked President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for the opportunity and added that he fully intends to work closely with the administration.

Firzul was appointed to the role on 27th January 2019. He had previously served as the Assistant Director at Finance as well.
