Sri Lanka’s largest private airline, Fits Air, is set to begin scheduled flights to the Maldives.

According to the airline, scheduled flights to Malé will begin on 10 October. Fits Air will operate 3 flights to the Maldives every week, on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Prior to this, Fits Air operated cargo operations between Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The airline began cargo operations in April 2020.

Fits Air is the second international airline in Sri Lanka.
