Vice President (VP) Faisal Naseem met the women's national basketball team competing in the South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) Women's Championship.

The meeting was held at Maldives Centre for Social Education on Tuesday.

During the meeting, VP Faisal presented the team with their official jerseys for the tournament. Speaking at the meeting, VP Faisal encouraged the team to give their best at the games. He wished them success in the tournament.

VP Faisal also spoke about the current Administration's commitment to further developing sports and providing more opportunities for Maldivian athletes.

The meeting was joined by Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Ahmed Mahloof, and other senior officials from the ministry and Maldives Basketball Association.
