The search continues for a missing elderly woman in L. Gan.

Khadheeja Abdulrahman, 85, was reported missing around 0530hrs on Tuesday morning.

L. Gan Council member Abdulla Asif told 'One' on Tuesday night that Khadheeja has not been found yet. She was last seen wearing a black floral dress with white flowers and a blue hijab.

Asif said Kahdheeja was last seen heading towards the beach. CCTV footage from L. Gan streets show Khadheeja walking on a street around 0518hrs.

Asif added that a large number of the public has joined the search for Khadheeja, searching the beach area and the sea as well.
