Ibrahim Waheed (Iburey) has resigned from the post of Deputy Managing Director at FENAKA Corporation.

He revealed to One Online that he had resigned from the post on 7th September, during which he was on vacation.

He further added that the reason behind the resignation was personal reasons, though he did not provide any further clarification on the reasons.

While news of his resignation has been confirmed, an alleged letter of resignation by him has been circulating around Social Media where he had put forward several allegations against Fenaka Managing Director Ahmed Saeed and Chairman Mohamed Rasheed.

He added that he is not aware of any such letter.

Ibrahim Waheed was appointed to the position in January 2019. Prior to the role, he had served in several high-profile roles within the government. As such, during the tenure of former President Mohamed Nasheed, he had filled in as the State Minister for the Health MInister as well as the chairman of National Social Protection Agency.
