Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced a clean up event in Hulhumale' in conjunction with World Cleanup Day 2022.

HDC stated that the cleanup event will be carried out under the 'Dhuniye Magey' campaign, with Ministries and Organisations partaking in the event.

HDC added that this would be the biggest cleanup event in Greater Male' Region to date. As such, HDC urged the public to partake in the event.

'Dhuniye Magey' campaign was launched in June 2022 to create awareness towards environment protection.

'Lets Do It! Maldives' is also organising a cleanup event in K. Himmafushi on Saturday.
