The Government has established an Aasandha desk in Addu City and Kulhudhuffushi City.

Speaking to the press on Thursday, Spokesperson Miuvan Mohamed said the establishment of Aasandha desks in the cities were part of the efforts to enhance the national health insurance service.

"We have established Aasandha desks in Addu City and Kulhudhuffushi City. The residents in the cities will now have ease of access to Aasandha services", Miuvan said.

He added that many residents have raised concerns with President Solih over having to call Aasandha desk in Male' for services. As such, the establishment of the services in the cities will provide ease to the residents.

Miuvan further added that the Administration is working on providing Aasandha services in other islands as well.
