Two individuals have been arrested for attacking three Police officers.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) said on Friday that the men were arrested around 1150hrs.

The injured officers are currently receiving medical attention at ADK Hospital, MPS said. MPS did not reveal the extent of injuries suffered by the officers.

'One' has come to know that the two individuals were arrested near Euro Store, Majeedhee Magu while trying to flee on a GN bike.

One of the individuals suffered various injuries after the motorbike crashed during the police pursuit. Videos have surfaced on social media of the individual being carried into an ambulance.
