Criminal Court has scheduled local lawyer Nazim Sattar's trial for Sunday, over allegations of engaging in homosexuality.

Nazim has been charged with engaging in homosexuality on 18 August after his videos were leaked online. He was arrested from a resort on 28 July but was released pending trial on August 12.

Nazim's trial has been set for 1330hrs on Sunday, to be held as a closed hearing.

Apart from Nazim, former MP and Leader of DRP, Nasheed and a Drug Enforcement Department Officer, Abdul Rahman Rauf have been charged with engaging in homosexuality. Nasheed's trial is ongoing at present.

The Bangladesh resident, Alamghir, who is seen in all the videos, was sentenced to 7 months in prison on 31 August.
