Maldives Police Service has stated that vehicles that park in no-parking zones and obstruct bus routes in the capital city will be towed and given a violation sticker.

To facilitate the mini bus service in Male', certain areas have been declared as no parking zones. This includes Majeedhee Magu and Ameenee Magu.

Police Media Officer revealed to ONE Online today that with the launching of the bus services, parking arrangements have been changed significantly, with certain street parking areas being completely removed.

They further highlighted that vehicles that obstruct the routes will receive a violation sticker and will be towed.

There are three main routes that the buses are operating through 40 stops on the routes.
