President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has assured new developments to M. Muli Regional Hospital, including better services and a new building.

President Solih met Muli Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) members and the island residents on Sunday as part of his official trip to the island.

During the meeting, President Solih addressed the concerns of the community, including improving healthcare services at Muli Regional Hospital. President Solih assured the Hospital will receive new doctors and equipment needed to run efficiently.

He stated that the development of Muli Regional Hospital was delayed due to Covid-19.

Speaking about Muli Regional Hospital, Health Minister Ahmed Naseem said the developmental works on the hospital will be completed next year.

Muli Regional Hospital has been in service for 30 years, providing gynaecology, paediatric services, and scan services. The hospital also provides surgery and anaesthesiology services as well as internal medicine.
