Telecom giant Ooredoo has upgraded their 'Ooredoo Colour Run' to 'Ooredoo Fun Run' with colour, obstacles, and water.

Ooredoo announced the new Fun Run on social media with an exciting video, tweeting at customers to gear up for an exciting event in December. Ooredoo took to Twitter to call it the 'Happiest Run in the Maldives'.

Managing Director and CEO of Ooredoo Maldives said that the event will be a great opportunity for family and friends to spend time together. He noted that the Maldives has seen an increase in runners over the years, and said that he hopes that more people will take interest in running through such events.

He added that Ooredoo is constantly working on upgrading their services, products, and events in accordance with their tag line - 'Upgrade your world'. As such, he said that Ooredoo takes pride in re-launching their running event as Fun Run after a hiatus.

Ooredoo Fun Run is scheduled for 23 December 2022, with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles through running.

The 5K run will have different stations with colour and other obstacles and activities at every km. Participants can walk, jog, or run during the event as there is no set time limit for the 5K run.

Ooredoo Fun Run is open to professional runners and anyone interested in running, the telecom giant said. Ooredoo added that more information regarding the run will be provided on Ooredoo website and social media platforms.
