Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been contracted with Maduvvari Harbour Development project together with R. Ungoofaaru and M. Mulah Shore Protection Project.

The project contracts were signed by CEO Adam Azim on behalf of MTCC, and Permanent Secretary of Planning Ministry, Ms. Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed during the signing ceremony held on Tuesday

Scope of works for the Maduvvari Harbour Development Project include harbour dredging operations of 38,800cbm, channel dredging operations of 54,093cbm, reclamation operations of 111,471cbm, construction of a 600m breakwater, and construction of a 122m revetment.

Additionally, MTCC will also conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as part of the project scope.

The project is valued at MVR 51.08 million to be completed within 480 days.

Scope of works for M. Mulah Shore Protection Project include construction of a 539m breakwater, a 343m revetment, and beach filling of 14,548.25cbm.

MTCC will also conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as part of the project scope.

The project is valued at MVR 38.96 million to be completed within 440 days.

Scope of works for R. Ungoofaaru Shore Protection Project include construction of a 120m breakwater, a 110m groyne and beach filling operations of 16,830cbm. MTCC will conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as part of the project scope.

The project is valued at MVR 11.11 million to be completed within 180 days.
