Safaath appointed as communication strategist at Ministry of Foreign Affairs

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Safaath Ahmed Zahis as the Communication Strategist at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

President Solih made the appointment at Deputy Minister's level.

Safaath previously served as Assistance Director at President's Office and also as a financial analyst and business consultant. She is also the Founder and President of local non-profit Women and Democracy.

Safaath's appointment comes in the wake of the former Communication Director at Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Miuvan's resignation.

Miuvan told 'One' he had resigned over the weekend, but did not specify any reason for resignation. Prior to working at Foreign Affairs, Miuvan worked as a journalist at Raajje TV.
