Maldivian Ambassador to Singapore, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom, has presented his credentials of ambassadorship to President of Singapore Halimah Yacob.

The presenting of credentials took place in a special ceremony held at the official residence and office of the President of Singapore, Istana.

The President of Singapore conveyed her congratulations to Ambassador Mausoom on his appointment. The President had further highlighted the age old ties between the two nations. She further assured that efforts will be taken to strengthen these bonds in the future.

Maldivian Ambassador Mausoom conveyed greetings and well wishes from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to the President of Singapore.

Dr. Abdulla Mausoom had been appointed to the post of Maldivian Ambassador to Singapore on 18 February 2019.
