Shiau's body brought back to Maldives following autopsy

The body of Shiau Mohamed - who was found brutally murdered in the capital city - has been brought back to the Maldives after conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

A source close to the matter revealed to ONE Online that the flight landed at 6:00pm yesterday and was taken to the Galolhu Mortuary around 6:45pm.

While the body has been brought back to the Maldives, Police had previously commented that they are unsure as to when the autopsy report will be received. However, they have made significant advances in the murder investigation.

The body was sent to India for an autopsy last Thursday.

Shiau's body was found brutally murdered in an apartment on the ninth floor of H. Sheereenvilla on the 7th of August. Police had apprehended 23 year old Ali Shahil from the scene of the murder.
