Former president and Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed's cell phone has been stolen from a restaurant in UK.
A message forwarded to Parliament member's WhatsApp group by Deputy Speaker Eva Abdulla, said Nasheed's phone was stolen while he was dining at a restaurant in UK. The perpetrator is said to have fled with the phone.
Nasheed has since been removed from the WhatsApp group by the Parliament Councillor General.
The message forwarded to the group by Eva was sent by Nasheed's daughter.
Parliament's Communication Director Hassan Ziyau told 'One' that Nasheed's phone has been stolen, but did not provide any further details.
