President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived in India on a four-day official visit at the invitation of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi.

President Solih and the Maldivian delegation were received by India's Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Dr. Sajeev Kumar Balyan, and senior officials of Indian External Affairs at the Receptorium Air Force Station in Palam, New Dehli.

President Solih is accompanied on this visit by senior government officials as well as representatives from leading businesses in Maldives.
