Health Ministry has stated that the German national who was suspected of having Monkeypox has tested negative.
The man had consulted at Treetop General OPD and presented symptomatic to Monkeypox, leading to his isolation and testing.
Speaking to 'One', an official from the ministry said the clinical team have concluded the German national does not have Monkeypox. As such, the man has been released from isolation, the official said.
Health Minister, Ahmed Naseem, told 'One' on Thursday that the Ministry will publicise details if anyone tests positive to Monkeypox.
HPA has urged the public to seek medical attention if suspected of Monkeypox, and advised to isolate until tested.
