Three people have been injured during a gang violence at a residential building in Male' City.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) said on Friday that the attack took place around 2245hrs. The injured men - 23, 35, and 36 - were brought to hospital for further treatment.

MPS did not specify details of the injuries sustained by the three men.

According to sources, the gang violence took place at a residential building near Items shop in Maafannu.

No arrests have been made as of yet in relation to the attack. MPS said they are investigating the attack.
