President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated that the Maldives foreign policy has been accepted and appreciated by the world, a testament to how strong the policy is.

He made the remark in a televised address to the nation on the occasion of Maldives' 57th Anniversary of Independence.

The President emphasised the importance of foreign and domestic affairs in preserving independence, highlighting that the administration's foreign policy was designed to embody policies that protect freedom while also assisting in development.

He further added that the role played by Maldives in the international arena stands as a fact to how strong the country's foreign policy is.
