Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has revealed over 700 security cameras have been installed in 4 Hiyaa towers in Hulhumale' Phase II.

HDC tweeted on Wednesday that 768 security cameras have been installed in Hiyaa towers 13, 14, 15, and 16. HDC added that cameras will be installed in the remaining towers soon.

HDC's Project Manager Ali Waheed had previously said that security cameras will be installed in Hiyaa tower basements, corridors, lift lobby and terrace area to minimise any and all issues and incidents in the residences.

The security camera installation project at Hiyaa towers is being carried out in 4 phases, with an estimated 3000 security cameras installed in the towers by the end of the project.
