Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) reveals the second shipment of precast concrete blocks required for the construction of the quay wall for Muraidhoo Harbour Development Project have been delivered to the project site.

MTCC said the installation of the concrete blocks are currently ongoing with 50% completion.

The scope of work for the project includes construction of a 212m quay wall, a 407m breakwater, a 107m repair work of breakwater, a 105m revetment, a 50m groyne, dredging operations of harbour and channel, construction of a ramp, a walkway bridge, installation of navigation lights and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 33.7 million.
