Civil Court Judge Zubair Mohamed has resigned from his post.

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) revealed that the judge had resigned from his post effective of Sunday, but did not provide any further details behind his resignation.

Zubair has served as a judge for more than 14 years. In this regard, he served as a magistrate at F. Dharanbudhoo Magistrate Court and as the Chief Magistrate at Haa Dhaalu and Dhaalu Judicial Constituency.

He also served at both Drug Court and Criminal Court.
