Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said work on the S. Hulhudhoo Harbour Development Project is well underway, with overall 88% project progress.

MTCC said the Company has completed installation of harbour pavement and streetlights. MTCC added that the first shipment of rock boulders have been delivered to the project site.

Scope of work for the project includes dredging and excavation operations of 88,623cbm, construction of a 114m breakwater, a 624m revetment, a 742m quay wall, 2,250 sqm of paved area, and installation of streetlights.

The project is valued at MVR 66.3 million.
