Fireworks display in Vilimale' tonight

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has announced there will be a fireworks display in Vilimale' tonight to mark the end of Eid Al-Adha celebrations.

MNDF said the fireworks display will be outside the north harbour area around 2130hrs tonight.

Vilimale' hosted a series of events this year to mark Eid Al-Adha, including cultural activities as well as a stage show.

The fireworks display will be held after the stage show tonight.

Fireworks displays were held in 18 islands this year as part of the Eid celebrations.
