State Trading Organisation (STO) has announced a Diploma in Radiography programme, to be commenced in September this year.

STO said the course fee for the first batch of 25 students will be waived. Entry requirements for the programme are 2 passes in A level science subjects.

The course is a Level 5 Diploma of 2 years with an internship of an additional 6 months, STO said. The radiography course was announced by STO, together with the Health Ministry and Maldives National University (MNU) on 5 April 2021. The course is accredited by MQA and Maldives Allied Health Council.

The radiography programme will be carried out at STO Training Institute and STO GE Skill Lab, STO said.
