President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed on an unofficial visit to Lh. Hinnavaru on Friday.

First Lady Fazna Ahmed is not accompanying President Solih on his trip to Lh. Hinnavaru. President Solih is set to return back to office on Sunday after the weekend trip to his birth island.

President Solih last visited Lh. Hinnavaru in February last year as part of his trip to the atoll. He met the island officials and residents and checked on the ongoing projects in the island during the trip.
