Minister of Home, Affairs Sheikh Imran Abdulla, has raised the question as to how taking just measures or actions can be deemed as cruelty.

The Minister has raised this question on twitter while a detention in prison had been ordered on former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s by the Criminal Court today.

President Yameen is to remain in detention for the remainder of his trial on charges against money laundering.
