While Dhiraagu has earned MVR 905 million in net profits last year, the Director’s Board has decided to distribute the amount among company shareholders.
Dhiraagu announced yesterday that they are set to distribute 100 percent of the net profit as MVR 11.91 per share. The company has reported that these distribution measures are to be proposed at the upcoming Dhiraagu Annual General Meeting.
The telecommunications service provider informed that the company shares have been divided into two categories. As such, MVR 452,970,000 has been allocated as Interim Dividend. The company announced that MVR 5.96 per share is to be distributed from this interim dividend amount.
The second category announced by Dhiraagu is Final dividend category with MVR 452,200,000. The company informed that these numbers will be proposed at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
Dhiraagu has reported that the amount of profits decided for distribution to shareholders at Annual General Meeting as final dividend will be handed to specific shareholders. As such, the company reported that these are shareholders that are registered at the company by the “Book Closure Date” of the Annual General Meeting.
Dhiraagu earned M R 896.7 million in 2017.
