President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has sent a message of condolence addressed to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Arif Alvi, following the passing of the country's former Prime Minister, Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali.

In his message, President Solih said that it was with deep sorrow that he learned of the passing of the former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali and the late former Prime Minister will be remembered for his long and distinguished service towards the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

“At this time of national grief, the Government and the people of the Maldives join me in extending our condolences and prayers to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Pakistan.” President Solih said in his message.
