Pakistan Ambassador to the Maldives, Vice Admiral (Rtd) Waseem Akram has met with VP Faisal Naseem to discuss strengthening bilateral ties in the areas of education, business and sports.

The discussions were held today during VP Faisal Naseem's visit to the Pakistani ambassador. Further areas where both nations can strengthen ties were also discussed during this meeting.

The Maldivian Vice President expressed his gratitude towards the cooperation and aid given to Maldives by the Pakistani government.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to the Maldives, Vice Admiral (Rtd) Waseem Akram expressed his warmest congratulations to the VP for being elected to the post. Admiral Waseem Akram (Rtd.) also assured that both countries will be working closely together in the coming years.

Discussions held between both nations included a future plans. of conducting a medical camp in Maldives

The Ambassador noted that all preparations have been made to conduct another medical camp this year. He also highlighted the cooperation given by Maldives in conducting the medical camp in 2018.
