Mr. Ibrahim Hilmy has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors to Public Service Media (PSM) .

While Hilmy was appointed as the Chairman today, he has previously served as a a member and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of PSM.

In addition to the appointment of the Chairperson of the Board, Ms. Mariyam Waheeda has been appointed as a member to the Board of PSM. While Ms. Mariyam Waheeda has exceedingly contributed her services to the field of Maldivian journalism, she has also worked as a member for the Board of Directors of the Broadcasting Commission (BroadCom) .

There have been several appointments made to positions within PSM; notably, the appointment of Mr. Ali Khalid as Managing Director as well as the appointment of Mr. Mohamed Shameem as Deputy Managing director.
