Former President, Abudlla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, currently serving a prison sentence for money laundering, has said no investigation asked him if he has any income aside from his position as the President of the country.

He made the statement today during the hearing at the Supreme Court after the state filed an appeal following the High Court overruling the Criminal Court decision to freeze the accounts of the former president.
