An online portal "Public Feedback" or "Rayyithunge Khiyaalu" has been launched by the Maldives Police Service today. This portal is open to the Maldivian public to express their views and will serve towards Police reform and the betterment and progress of the institution.

In a meeting of the management board held this morning at Iskandar Building, the acting Commissioner of Police and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohamed Hameed inaugurated the launching of the portal.

Speaking, after the official inauguration, the acting Commissioner said that the purpose of this portal is to improve the institution of Maldives Police Service with the contribution of the public. He further said that the views expressed in the portal until the 15th of February this year will serve to compose the Maldives Police Strategic Plan. He assured that the Police will continue to take into account public feedback even after February and that they will work towards passing along the feedback to the respective departments to take all necessary actions in response.

Police have informed that the launching of the online portal today is part of the police reform promised in the 100-day pledges of the current administration to work in collaboration with the people to improve the services of Maldives Police Service. Police have also said that the people can submit their views using the online portal and the Maldives Police Service website to help better the institution.
