First tourist of 2019 to Maldives presented with several gifts.

The first tourist to visit Maldives within the new year 2019 presented with several gifts.

The first tourist to Maldives starting the year 2019 is Mr. Khalid Karim of Saudi Arabia who arrived with his wife and child. The family was greeted at Velana International Airport by the Minister for Tourism Mr. Ali Waheed and the Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed.

Commemorating the arrival of the first tourist of the year, the privately owned resort, aaVee presented the family with an all expenses paid 7 night - holiday package. The family was also presented with return ticket from the Airline, Oman Air.

Speaking to the press, Mr. Khalid Karim said that he has traveled to several countries before this, and that he has yet to see a country as beautiful as Maldives.
