The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Maldives has gone up to 256 after five more locals and a woman from Pakistan tests positive.

The COVID-19 dashboard by Health Protection Agency (HPA) updated that the latest figures are five Maldivians and a Pakistani woman who tested positive.

Three of these cases have no contact with existing clusters according to HPA.

With this the total number of cases are now 256 with 17 recoveries. Three of the positive cases are also being treated at IGMH DH11. These are two Maldivians and a Pakistani.
