Lily International has said that the people who tested positive for COVID-19 in Male’ City are not employees of Lily International or Lily F&B.

The company said that Lily International, Lily F&B, Lily Enterprise and Lily Store are different entities run by two separate managements. And no one of Lily International and Lily F&B have tested positive for COVID-19 and no official authority has informed that an employee of Lily International or Lily F&B have tested positive to date.

Lily said that the company has been importing a lot of food items into the country and they are working to deliver food in the Male’ area during the lock down.

After the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Maldivian capital, the Male’ City area was placed under lock down for 24 hours and since then, extended to 14 days along with a nationwide lock down banning travel between the islands. A number of businesses have been given permission to deliver food and other goods during this time.
