Bank of Maldives PLC has donated MVR 60,000 to the private organization working towards the rights of children, Advocating Rights of Children (ARC).

At a small ceremony held at the BML Head Office today, the funds were presented to ARC by the CEO and Managing Director of BML, Tim Sawyer.

The funds donated by the bank is set to be used to fund and conduct the programs by ARC.

Earlier this year, BML raised funds for the anti-bullying program “Beat Bullying” and hosted the “BML Wow Kids Run” in associated with Total Fitness Group (TFG), where the participants donated MVR 105,250 to the campaign.

ARC has been working for the rights of children in the country for the past ten years.
