Judicial Service Commission has decided to investigate another disciplinary issue relating to Chief Judge of High Court, Shujau Usman and High Court Judge Hussain Shaheed.

JSC noted that an investigative committee will be formed to look into three issues; a disciplinary issue on High Court Top Judge, Shujau Usman, High Court Judge Hussain Shaheed and R. Hulhudhuffaaru Magistrate Court Top Magistrate, Ali Musthafa.

However, no further details of the issues that were being probed were shared by the JSC. JSC is currently investigating one more issue of Judge Shujau and Judge Shaheed.

Judge Shujau is being investigated for issuing a verdict on Former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb in a rushed manner, while he was on vacation.

MP Meekail Naseem submitted the case to the JSC last July. However, details of what's being investigated of Judge Shaheed still remains unclear.
