National Awards Council has said that an information session on President’s National Award for Special Recognition to take place on Wednesday.

The President’s Office said that session held for the benefit of individuals who wish to submit their own or another’s name for consideration to win the President’s National Award for Special Recognition has been scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the President’s Office.

Individuals who wish to participate in this session led by the Awards Council can register their names by calling the President's Office.

Names to be considered must be submitted to the President’s Office via a special form addressed to the National Council. These forms are available from the President’s Office during official working hours or alternately, can be downloaded from the website: www.presidencymaldives.gov.mv. The forms must be submitted by the deadline of Tuesday, 15 September.

This year's President's National Award for Special Recognition will be presented at the special ceremony commemorating Republic Day.
