Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has started ferry service in Dhaalu Atoll.
MTCC told One Online that the service in Dhaalu Atoll began yesterday. And the service will be available from Saturday to Thursday.
While the ferry service has begun in the atoll last week, MTCC has allocated two routes for the travel. One them is Meedhoo, Rimbidhoo, Hulhudheli and Kudahuvadhoo. The other route, Route 407, includes Meedhoo, Bandidhoo, Vaanee, Maaemboodhoo and Kudahuvadhoo.
Travel in the atoll has a fare of MVR 20 and ferries with a capacity of 100 people can accommodate bicycles and lightweight luggage.
