Fenaka Corporation has signed a framework agreement to transfer its water and sewerage services in Addu City and Fuvahmulah City to Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC).

The agreement was signed by MWSC Managing Director Hussain Fahmy and Fenaka Managing Director Mohamed Afif Hussain.

Under the agreement, MWSC will take over the related operations, infrastructure and resources. Ongoing projects, customer records, agreements, inventory and other responsibilities will also be transferred following the necessary verification.

MWSC said the companies will work together to ensure uninterrupted water and sewerage services during the transition.

The transfer is aimed at improving the efficiency and reliability of water and sewerage services in both cities.
