Maldivian is preparing to commence scheduled flights between Malé and Dhaalu Kudahuvadhoo.
Island Aviation, the operator of Maldivian, announced tonight that flights will operate daily starting this coming Thursday. As a promotional launch offer, ticket prices will start from MVR 1,111.
Island Aviation stated that with the introduction of flights to Kudahuvadhoo Airport, Maldivian's destination network will expand to 18 airports across the Maldives. The company noted that this marks a significant milestone in ongoing efforts to connect various regions of the country by air and provide reliable services to the public.
The service is expected to provide substantial relief to residents of Dhaalu Atoll traveling to Malé for educational, medical, and business purposes, while also breathing new life into the atoll's tourism and economic activities, according to Island Aviation.
Ticket bookings have been opened starting today through Maldivian's website, mobile app, and authorized ticketing agents.
