Shaheed Ali School, the first school developed by the current administration, has been officially opened today. The ceremony was officiated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at the school premises.
Minister of Education Dr. Ismail Shafeeu spoke at the ceremony, which was attended by senior government officials. During the event, the school’s logo was unveiled and the President was presented with a commemorative plaque.
Construction of Shaheed Ali School began in December 2023 and was carried out by the RCC. The school has a capacity of 1,500 students, which can be expanded to accommodate up to 2,500 students if operated in two sessions.
The school features modern facilities, including 54 classrooms, a multipurpose hall, an auditorium with seating for 400 students, a library, a computer lab, three science laboratories, indoor sports facilities, outdoor sports areas, and a turf field.
