R. Dhuvaafaru, V. Keyodhoo, and AA. Mathiveri have secured their respective atoll titles in the HD Hyundai Golden Futsal Challenge 2026, the largest and most prestigious futsal tournament in the Maldives.

The atoll round of the Golden Futsal Challenge concluded last night, with five atoll finals held across yesterday afternoon and evening. While Mathiveri and Keyodhoo successfully defended their titles, Dhuvaafaru claimed the trophy after defeating their rivals, Inguraidhoo.

Mathiveri secured their fourth atoll title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bodufolhudhoo in a high-intensity final last night. Despite Mathiveri’s Ali Alsan receiving a red card during the match, the team maintained a strong performance, with Mohamed Shafraz scoring the decisive goal in the final minutes.

Mathiveri’s Alsan was recognized as the atoll’s best player and also finished as the top scorer. This victory adds to Mathiveri's previous atoll titles won in 2022, 2024, and 2025.

Dhuvaafaru also celebrated their fourth atoll title by defeating Inguraidhoo with a 2-0 scoreline. Hassan Azoom Ali was the sole scorer of the match. Mohamed Isam (Shante) from Dhuvaafaru was named the best player and top scorer of Raa Atoll.

Meanwhile, Keyodhoo successfully defended their crown by defeating Fulidhoo 3-0 last night. In a match that secured their third consecutive atoll title, the goals for Keyodhoo were scored by Areen Abdullah Ibrahim, Azyan Adam Rasheed, and Shirfan Hussain Ali.

Azyan of Keyodhoo emerged as the top scorer for Vaavu Atoll, while his teammate Areen was named the best player.

There are no matches scheduled for the Golden Futsal Challenge today or tonight. The tournament will resume tomorrow.
