GDh. Vaadhoo have won the atoll championship at the HD Hyundai Golden Futsal Challenge 2026, securing the title for the fifth consecutive year.

Vaadhoo have now won the atoll trophy in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, marking their fifth overall championship victory.

In today’s atoll final, Vaadhoo defeated Hoadedhdhoo 6–4. Hoadedhdhoo took an early lead by scoring the first two goals, with Ismail Mamdhooh and Mohamed Iufaf Abdulla each scoring twice. Vaadhoo later turned the match around to secure the win.

Vaadhoo’s goals were scored by Ayaz Ahmed, Mohamed Nail, Musannif Mohamed and Yazdan Ibrahim. Ayaz and Naail each scored two goals.

Ayaz was named man of the match in the final, while Musannif Mohamed was awarded best player and top scorer of the atoll.
