The HD Hyundai Golden Futsal Challenge 2026 atoll round is ongoing with teams from Noonu and Raa Atolls competing in the tournament. Four teams from each atoll are taking part.
Holhudhoo won their opening match in the Noonu Atoll round. The match between Maalhendhoo and Velidhoo ended in a 1–1 draw, with Azfan Moosa scoring for Maalhendhoo and Ibrahim Ziyan scoring for Velidhoo.
Holhudhoo are the defending Noonu Atoll champions, having defeated Henbadhoo 2–0 in last year’s final. The goals in that match were scored by Ahmed Thoif and Abdul Wadhoodh.
In Raa Atoll, Dhuvaafaru and Alifushi both secured victories in their first matches. Dhuvaafaru are the defending champions after beating Inguraidhoo 4–1 in last year’s final. Their goals were scored by Ahmed Mihan Mohamed, Mohamed Isam, Ibrahim Azmoon, and Ibrahim Anan Ali, while Mohamed Juman scored for Inguraidhoo.
Alifushi recorded a dominant 7–1 win in their opening match. Ahmed Zalaf, Adam Mansoor, and Abdul Sameeu Hassan were among the scorers, with Zafa and Mansoor each scoring twice. Fainu’s only goal was scored by Affan Bin Ahmed.
