The HD Hyundai and Golden Futsal Challenge 2026 continued in Haa Dhaalu Atoll round, with the group stage concluding last night and the atoll semi-finalists confirmed.
In Group A, Nolhivaram secured first place after defeating Makunudhoo 10-3. Hamza Aboobakuru scored five goals, while Hussain Waseem and Ali Raif Adam Saeed added two goals each, and Hussain Easa scored one. Makunudhoo’s goals came from Keenan Ismail, Mohamed Ashfaq and Adam Aik Ahmed. Despite the win, Nolhivaram failed to qualify after Hanimadhoo and Neykurendhoo played to a 0-0 draw, which sent Nolhivaranfaru and Neykurendhoo through.
Naivadhoo confirmed their place in the semi-finals by beating Nellaidhoo 3-2. Mohamed Aslam, Abdulla Wisam and Hussain Maishan scored for Naivadhoo, while Ahmed Reehan and Mohamed Nishal scored for Nellaidhoo. Vaikaradhoo kept their hopes alive with a 3-1 win over Kumundhoo, with Ahmed Anees scoring twice and Ali Abdulla adding another.
Kelaa secured second place in Group A with a 2-1 win over Baarah. Ahmed Shafaq and Ahmed Waheed scored for Kelaa, while Mohamed Maiz Yousuf scored for Baarah. In another match, Thuraakunu defeated Hoarafushi 3-2.
In Group B, Muraidhoo maintained a perfect record by beating Utheemu 3-1. Goals for Muraidhoo were scored by Irun Ahmed Rasheed, Ahmed Nawaf and Ufaful Abdulla. Vashafaru currently sit second in the group.
The group stage also concluded in other atolls, with Kanditheemu and Funadhoo finishing top of their groups. Funadhoo beat defending champions Milandhoo 2-1, while Kanditheemu recorded a dominant 5-0 win to secure first place.
With the group stage complete, Nolhivaranfaru, Naivadhoo, Kelaa and Muraidhoo have all confirmed their spots in the Haa Dhaalu Atoll semi-finals.
