The HD Hyundai and Golden Futsal Challenge 2026 is underway, with competitive matches played in both groups of the atoll stage.

Eight teams from Laamu Atoll are competing in two groups. In Group A, Isdhoo strengthened their position by winning their second match and securing six points. Goals were scored by Luth Ahmed Fathi, Ali Asham and Ali Misag Easa. Gan also earned a 2–0 win over Dhanbidhoo in a closely contested match, with goals from Ahmed Haleem and Ali Shamis.

Gan and Dhanbidhoo each have three points from two matches, while Fonadhoo remain without points after losing 3–0 in their second match. Dhanbidhoo will face Isdhoo next, while Gan are set to play Fonadhoo as the race for semi-final spots continues.

Group B remains tightly contested, with all four teams level on three points after two matches. Mundoo recorded a 4–1 victory over Maavashu, with Hussain Layan scoring twice and additional goals from Hamdan Ahmed and Hussain Nishaf. Ahmed Fazeel scored the lone goal for Maavashu.

In another Group B match, Kalaidhoo defeated Kunahandhoo 2–1. Ibrahim Naail and Ahmed Farish scored for Kalaidhoo, while Mohamed Maaish netted for Kunahandhoo.
